… and the journey begins

fitness, diet, exercise, physical, wealth, financial fitness50 plus years old. Bad nutrition habit. Low activity. Daily resistance and procrastination to real change in my physical appearance has lead to a BMI over 33. I was out of control. Low energy, stamina, and engagement the vibrance of life.

Then…..

Along came higher than normal blood sugars and eventually diabetes. NOW IT BECAME IMPERATIVE THAT I CHANGE MY SEDENTARY LIFESTYLE!!!!!

So my journey began 4 weeks ago at 237 pounds and a blood sugar around 140 in the morning. After 30 days of focused activity, awareness of my diet and habits, and genuine effort I weighted in at 228 this morning and a blood sugar of 115.

Not perfect… and on my way.

My habits include the following:

  1. Review my weight loss goal and affirmations daily
  2. Acquire 10,000 steps a day
  3. Walk on the treadmill 90 minutes a week
  4. Drink 80 ounces of water a day
  5. An Isagenix Strawberry shake a day
  6. Eat an apple a day
  7. Avoid sugars and carbs (no candy, cookies, ice cream, or bread)
  8. Journal each week about my progress

I start each morning by being aware of my goal and starting my day out on the right path for success.
